Looking for the Afterparty?👀

Join us for The Communion at a private location from 7 to 11p! In the spirit of abundance, our community member Lex has offered to prepare an after-river meal fit for the ancestors. The menu will feature Southern cuisine and she has already been informed of the reported food allergies. To support this labor, Lex is asking for a $10-15 love offering to cover the cost of food.

RSVP by sending your donation to Xolani’s CashApp or Venmo with the note “Communion.” 100% of the funds will be forwarded to Lex. Please RSVP ASAP! We need a final headcount by Friday morning.

If you are driving from out of town and need a place to stay in between, Lex has also offered the home as a resting place! The address will be distributed to those who RSVP.

FAQs

  • All white! 🤍 We also recommend covering your head with a white scarf, headwrap, durag, bandana, or hat. Wear shoes that support your arches and spine, and are comfortable to walk/stand in for several hours. Shoes can be any color, just know they may get dirty.

  • Please note that offerings given to the Eno must be biodegradable. We do not want to disturb or harm the land or the creatures that live there!

We don't believe in coming to the land or the water empty-handed! We will be giving offerings to Mama Eno. When asked, we were instructed to bring sweet offerings of love, laughter, and joy. The spirits there requested childlike wonder and imagination. They want us to engage in pleasure and play. What sparks childlike wonder in you? Is it a clapping game? Is it a small toy? Coloring books and crayons? Bring that with you to the Eno!
